EIC-Pathfinder Challenge grant

We are happy to announce that we have received a €4 Million grant from the EIC-Pathfinder Challenge. This grant will fund the development of a pumping human mini-heart and swimming human bio-robot by a consortium composed of two companies, River BioMedics (RBM) and NanoScale Systems (Nanoss) GmbH and two universities, the University of Twente (UT) and Universidad de Málaga (UMA). The project will be led by Prof. Jeroen Leijten (UT) and Prof. Robert Passier (UT), Dr. Marcelo Ribeiro (RBM), Dr. Alexander Kaya (Nanoss), and Prof. José M Perez-Pomares and Dr. Juan Antonio Guadix Dominguez (UMA).
